Nicholas Connors is an award-winning composer/lyricist and currently works on Broadway as an orchestrator and musician. His original songs have been performed by Tony Award Winner Karen Olivo (WEST SIDE STORY, IN THE HEIGHTS), GLEE's Jenna Ushkowitz, Kyle Selig (MEAN GIRLS), Kaley Ann Voorhees (PHANTOM) and more. His musicals include HERE, IN THE PARK (1st Prize- Festival of New American Musicals ShowSearch 2015), SPACE VOYAGE: THE MUSICAL FRONTIER (co-book by Quinn Elmer) and
the upcoming TEN LONG YEARS (book by Kyle Wilson).
As a musician, Nicholas has worked with Stephen Schwartz, Lynn Ahrens, Tom Kitt, Pasek & Paul, Mary-Mitchell Campbell and other theatre luminaries. He has orchestrated or arranged music for Kristin Chenoweth,
Tina Fey, Jessica Vosk, Gavin Creel and Karen Olivo. Nicholas' orchestrations have been performed at Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Opera, on PBS, and by many of America's premier orchestras. Nicholas' Broadway credits include Kristin Chenoweth's FOR THE GIRLS (Associate Music Director, Orchestrator,) Tina Fey's MEAN GIRLS (Pianist) and the upcoming Cameron Crowe/Tom Kitt musical ALMOST FAMOUS (Assistant Music Director.) He was also an Associate Music Director for Kristin Bell's ENCORE! on Disney+. Nicholas is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin.
