Nicholas has extensive experience as a music director, conductor, orchestrator, and audition coach. He recently played keyboards and music directed the 2nd National Tour of A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN and has also music directed at regional theaters across the country. Nicholas also served as the music director and arranger for Tony Award-Winner Karen Olivo in her acclaimed Wisconsin debut.
In New York, Nicholas works with many inspiring music teams and writers. He is currently a rehearsal pianist with the Broadway company of MEAN GIRLS. He has music directed at many NYC venues including 54 Below, The Green Room, and Merkin Hall.
As a music assistant, he worked on DEAR EVAN HANSEN for Alex Lacamoire and Pasek & Paul, with Stephen Schwartz on PRINCE OF EGYPT, and for many other composers of developing and Broadway-bound productions.
